I went in Friday morning and I was greeted immediately with a warm smile by the cashier named Lupe! She was so friendly! It was my first time coming in so she explained everything that was available on the menu for me and gave me her recommendations. She was professional, but also very kind and friendly at the same time. Everything was perfect and the food was delicious! Thank you Lupe :)
We love this place. They have a lil bit of everything for the whole family, even your picky lil ones. My favorite go to dinner will always be their chicken salad with an extra side of pita and extra side tzatziki.
Got the chicken salad and gyro plate. Chicken salad had a good portion of chicken thighs and was juicy. Gyro plate felt standard and nothing extra. Fries were crispy
This place is really good. Sort of a hidden gem and off the beaten path since it's east of the 805 on University Ave. Reasonably priced as a 6 oz burger, fries, and drink are about $15. Also unique in that the burger has a slice of gyro on it - they also make Greek dishes. Very small with limited seating so probably best to do take out. Burgers are very good. Fries are solid. Much more tasty than a lot of burger places you can find in North Park, so be sure to check it out!
The Hype is Real! I had never heard of this place and was in the neighborhood. I looked up a good local burger place and this popped up. I love supporting local business that is family operated so, despite some of the negative reviews, I gave it a chance. I ordered the 8oz combo (w/onion rings). It came out in under 10 minutes, burger medium well as ordered, onion rings crispy and clearly made in-house. There are a couple reviews commenting on the "nasty service." Not only was the service friendly and quick, she had a sense of humour and took a minute from a clearly busy day to chat a bit. I can see why local tv and newspapers have lauded Raja Rahib and his mission to serve fresh, delicious fast food to the community over their 40+-year existence. Pro: Fries Local staple Quick Menu Staff Con: Super small! ADA: A So definitely a "take out" spot. Only 1 4top(restaurant language for a 4 person table), a couple doubles, and some seats outside. We were lucky in that no one was in at the moment we went in so got the table. Food is solid, nothing to write home about but the fact they have been there for atleast +30yrs means they're doing something right! Pastrami on your burger is the way to go. They offer steakburgers @ 4oz, 6oz, 8oz! Big boys. Plus Gyro, Pastrami, etc... if you've been you know, if not? What are you waiting for? Cooks/Staff are friendly and service is always with a smile. I do recommend Canada Steak Burger for your carnivorous needs!
Was craving chilli cheese fries and found this place on google maps! Definitely on the smaller side but the service was fast and great! Large chilli cheese fries and a drink for $14 is so cheap and it filled two people up! Cant wait to come back to try the Philly sandwiches!

Anywho... grilled chicken salad never disappoints!!! Also had steak skewer.. meat was like butta.. they cooked it a perfect moodium rare!!
I was on a work trip and decided to have lunch in between my meetings. I was told by a person in the meeting that this was a good place to eat. I came in and I was greeted by staff. The staff was very polite and knowledgeable. I ordered the chicken and ribs with Greek salad with garlic bread. The ribs were grill to perfection, very tender and flavorful. The chicken was delicious and the Greek salad was great. Portion sizes were great and well worth it. Next time I will try the burger because that what everyone loves. Ambiance is customer friendly. Great place to go for lunch or dinner.
I have been coming to Canada burgers since I was in high school and now I bring my own kids there. The food is still really good. I guess they now have two locations. Get the steak burger for a solid burger, then the gyros and the grilled chicken salad and we always get the fries. Last time I wanted something different and tried their steak sandwich. Wow, it was simple, but great flavor. The staff is very nice. I always call to order, so I don't have to wait too long. Try them, you'll keep coming back. You won't be left hungry
